I only have one teapot featured here but this is an example of the teapots we used as Letterbox containers for the Down the Rabbit Hole Event. Pixie Dust Gal (Kelly) and I frequented all of the local thrift stores and raided our own cupboards and we were able to come up with over 30 glass and ceramic teapots for the event. Most of the stamps and logbooks fit into the teapots. Then the teapots were place into retail stores all over Eagle as the Mad Hatter had lost his special tea party items. We also placed Alice in Wonderland themed tags that I made on each tea pot handle to designate that the Letterboxer had found the correct item. This was to prevent Letterboxers in mistaking other items and teapots in stores from the treasure they were seeking. We did have a few teapots that were too tiny to contain stamps or logbooks so we attached them to the outside of the teapots in decorative mesh bags. Kelly and I have been joking since the event that now when you open almost any cupboard or drawer in our kitchens you are bound to find at least 1 teapot present. My craft room, garage and front living room still look like the Mad Hatter resides in Boise at our home. Another interesting event fact was that in all the running around and transporting we did of the teapots we only had one very small casualty. Tea anyone?
