I have not had time to catch up on our Colorado letterboxing activities but wanted to add a couple of recent adventures to the blog. Yesterday a family friend, Martin, and I rode in the Boise Valley Riders Ride 4 the Red fundraiser event. I asked Martin if he minded making a quick stop on the Lowman Loop for a box and he was such a good sport about it. We stopped at the Deadwood Campground to track down Boxerlovers BMW RA Rally 2006 letterbox. http://www.atlasquest.com/showinfo.html?gBoxId=51198 We were only the second visitors to the box but really smiled when I discovered the carving. To see if more boxers might visit I left a box very near to Boxerlovers called "Only You". This is a very child friendly carving. http://www.atlasquest.com/showinfo.html?gBoxId=88414 Both are an easy find and worth the stop. The Lowman Loop is a great ride and a beautiful area to visit. We did note an animal skeleton near where we planted the box. It may have been a moose but I was not sure.
