I had the pleasure of being invited to attend Frightnight Four in Maine this past October. I was one of four out of state mystery guests. What was so fun about the event was that I got to see new letterboxing friends that I had met at Live and Breathe. And in fact Littlmoon was generous enough to open her home to me while I stayed in Maine. Littlmoon and I were in the same cabin at Live and Breathe in Oregon. I had never been to Maine before but was thrilled to find that the leaves were still sticking to the trees waiting for my arrival. The colors were extraordinary. It's interesting to visit another state across the country because the east is so different from the west. One thing you would never see in Idaho is a cemetery smack dab next to a KFC. I had to snap a picture or two of that. Apparently on the East coast you don't move cemeteries for new construction (it's against the law) so you just build around it. I even saw a small cemeteries in the median of the highway. I am not sure how easy it would be go park and pay your respects during rush hour traffic.
