Copic Markers and Glimmer Mist on LTC's

Before heading to KuKu's Birthday Bash this past weekend I was in warp drive LTC mode. Fortunate the Force was with me because I had less than two weeks to design and create 80 LTC's. I recently discovered the magic of Copic markers and put them to good use quickly. Although these high end markers are a little on the pricey side (about $4.50 each) they are worth every penny. I have spent way too much money tossing out my old markers and stopped purchasing markers all together because of the short shelf life. Copic Markers have completely changed my mind about markers. Copic Markers have a three year guaranteed shelf life, come in hundreds of colors, are permanent, non-toxic and dry acid free. They are also refillable! Basically once you see a streak in your work it is time to refill your marker. One bottle of refill will refill my Copic Markers 7-9 times. I can also replace my nibs if I ruin a tip and they guarantee color consistency.

Another favorite crafting tool that I used in two of the designs I created recently were my Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. I used Glimmer Mist on the Princess Cafe-Ah LTC cards above. I also used the Tattered Angels Glimmer Screens to create the illusion of the Darth Vader Tie Fighter (of sorts) behind the actual stamped image. I know it's a bit of a stretch but it was the art I saw in my mind. Makes one wonder what is going on up there a lot of the time.

The Star Ward inspired Letterbox that the LTC's were created from is now living in Astoria, Oregon. The box was carved for my two favorite Jedi who were also in town to celebrate. I saw the image and just could not resist the carve. A huge thank you to NeNe for planting Princess Cafe-Ah for me!
