My journey to KuKu's Birthday Bash started with a 2011 Race Red Ford Mustang! I will admit that I have NEVER rented a sports car in my life and when they gave away the hybrid economy car (to the slow deciding couple at the counter ahead of me) what choice did I have? A girl's just gotta do what a girls gotta do to get to her letterboxing event. I slowly made my way to the car lot with my 50 lb suitcase and two carry on's to discover the same couple standing two stalls down from me staring at an empty spot. It appears that the hybrid car was gone. However, my screaming hot Mustang was sitting there calling my name! I looked at them with a sigh as they headed back to the Budget Car Rental Counter (picture Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and Automobiles - 1987). I turned and squealed with delight as I loaded up the Mustang and hit the road...
