Our Seattle weekend ended with a delicious meal at the Purple Café and Wine Bar in Downtown Seattle. We first sampled their specialty cheeses. Delice De Bourgogne with pomegranate molasses and Barely Buzzed cheese with wildflower honey. For our entrees Anthony had the Maine Lobster Baked Mac and Cheese campanelle, Maine lobster, creamy gruyère sauce and fried carrots. I selected the Gorgonzola and Pancetta orecchiette, fresh red bell pepper, scallions, walnuts, gorgonzola cream sauce and pulled chicken. And for dessert we had the Pumpkin Bread Pudding with vanilla-ginger crème anglaise. The Pumpkin Bread Pudding was out of this world good!
