Eagle Island Late Afternoon Boxing Last Week

Last week Exterminators (Becky – my husband’s adult daughter) came to town for her brothers (Nick’s graduation).  I have been with Nick since he was little but Becky lives in New York with her children and husband and I have only had the pleasure of seeing her a few times over the years.  During her last visit to Boise (6 years ago) I very quickly introduced her to Letterboxing.  She has been on and off the trail since then when time allows and it was wonderful to take her back out on the trail during her recent Boise visit.  Our first boxing attempt was out to Eagle Island on Wednesday night after I got off work to see which of the Idaho State Symbols boxes were still alive.  Sadly we were only able to find 2 of the original 7 boxes and I have sent a quick note to DucksInIdaho to let them know of the demise of their series.  On a positive note we had amazing weather during Becky’s visit and we were able to spend several days boxing around Nick’s graduation happenings.  Becky did bring one of her three kids to Idaho with her.  Ashe is three and he is as cute as a button.  While we were boxing Ashe spent his time with Grandpa (poptone – short for papa Tony).  They had lots of adventures including quite a few parks, fishing, the Boise Zoo, visiting the aquarium etc.  As you can see above the Pei’s of Adventure were completely enjoying their Eagle Island afternoon adventure.
