This may seem like an odd item to add to my Letterboxing blog but Serene Bender planted a box at this very dog park in Nampa called "This One's for the Dog A Place To Go." She dedicated the box to her Shih Tzu Bella who is pictured above. I have been trying to make it out there for ages to find the box but with Raisin's recent surgery we have been pretty side lined. Maybe if she has the doctors permission by then I can take them both out for this fundraiser. If not maybe daddy can stay home with Raisin and I can take Jay out to the event.
The festival includes a dog-swim, raffle, pet friendly booths, 1-mile walk, contests and prizes. The cost is $25.00 and includes a t-shirt, doggie gift and admission for one dog into the walk and swim. $10.00 for each additional dog.
